Jonathan Hille brings more than two decades of artistry, innovation, and trade leadership to the exterior lighting industry. Classically trained as a landscape architect, Jonathan discovered early in his collegiate studies that his further passion lived at the intersection of technology and the transformative power of lighting design. While peers focused on landscape architectural details such as planting specifications and grading plans, Jonathan was captivated by how proper lighting shaped the living space, elevated architecture, and created elegant emotion. Jonathan’s passion for exterior lighting quickly evolved into a blessed work path.
In his early professional career Jonathan held a lead sales management role at FX Luminaire, where his efforts directly expanded trade brand awareness throughout the southwest region. Shortly thereafter, and during the business’s early formation years, Jonathan provided pivotal creative management and leadership roles at one of the now most respected landscape construction companies in the US.
In 1999, applying his expertise and passion to elevate the lighting standards of outdoor environments across residential and commercial projects alike, Jonathan developed and designed a premier landscape lighting manufacturing company. Atom Lighting Inc. quickly earned national industry attention for its engineering excellence and design-forward solutions. Fourteen years later, the company’s various product design assets led to an acquisition by The Toro Company Inc.
In 2003, Jonathan founded BEAM Luxury Lighting – a design development brand rooted in craftsmanship, innovation, and a dedication to timeless outdoor illumination. Today, his vision continues to guide the company as it delivers custom lighting experiences that blend technology, durability, and stunning design effects. Eric Gilliland is passionate about creating charming, sophisticated lighting designs that are both timeless and site-responsive. As team landscape architect, he directs residential and commercial lighting design, shaping outdoor environments that reflect client needs, architectural style, and existing environmental influences.
With over 28 years of professional experience, Eric has managed lighting design and build projects across residential, commercial, and urban settings. His work emphasizes quality, thoughtful design, and seamless execution, from custom lighting plans, to estimates, and installation oversight.
A graduate of the University of Arizona with a degree in Landscape Architecture, Eric brings creativity, technical expertise, and a collaborative spirit to every project. Proficient in CAD-based design software and Adobe Creative Suite, he creates detailed plans and visualizations that bring concepts to life.
Jaime Lechuga brings over 20 years of hands-on electrical and construction experience to his role in Field Operations. He oversees the on-site execution of residential and commercial lighting projects, ensuring every installation meets BEAM’s standards for quality, safety, and craftsmanship.
Known for his reliability and attention to detail, Jaime manages installation crews, coordinates project logistics, and solves challenges in the field to keep operations running smoothly. His leadership of the field team and commitment to excellence make him a vital part of the BEAM Luxury Lighting team.
As BEAM Luxury Lighting’s Executive Assistant/Office Manager, Lexi Oddson provides multi-faceted team support for company management and project clientele. Known for her organization, efficiency, and pleasant demeanor, Lexi’s efforts keep internal processes running smoothly and enriches the overall success of BEAM Luxury Lighting.
